A Day to Remember: Haylie & Dakota’s Perfect Wedding

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Haylie and Dakota, and let us tell you—they are the cutest! From the moment we met them during their engagement session at Jasper Park, we knew their wedding day was going to be something truly special. The engagement shoot was filled with laughter, beautiful weather, and plenty of fun as we explored the park together. It left us so excited for the big day, and wow, did it deliver!

Their wedding was the perfect blend of love, family, and fun. The ceremony took place at the stunning Brenton Arboretum, a picturesque setting that couldn’t have been more fitting for the occasion. The way the sun filtered through the trees as Haylie and Dakota exchanged vows was pure magic.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Des Moines Rugby Club, where guests gathered on the deck to mingle, chat, and soak in the day’s joy. Watching Haylie and Dakota interact with their friends and family was heartwarming—they were so at ease and clearly having the time of their lives.

One of the standout moments of the day was Dakota’s daughter. She brought so much charm and energy, from sharing a touching moment with Haylie during the ceremony to helping kick off the fun at the reception. Seeing the love and connection between them was truly special.

Oh, and we can’t forget the ice cream bar! It was the cherry on top (literally) of an already incredible day. Guests of all ages loved customizing their treats, and it added a playful, unique touch to the celebration.
